The scene: There's three different areas, all welcoming and casual - a beer and wine shop, a bar and tables, and an outdoor patio. The beer and wine shop has an extensive list to purchase or drink with your meal. They usually carry Argus Cidery, a personal favorite that happens to be brewed here in Austin. In the restaurant area they have a bar with local beers on tap and a place to place your order. Nearby there's a comfortable seating area covered in Indian cloths and a stage for live bands. Outside is a spacious patio with multiple long tables - while this place doesn't get too crowded, you may share a table with another customer. The people that dine here have always been friendly and courteous.

Good for: Naan - I'm a sucker for good in-house made naan, and you can find that here. While not the best in town, it's made fresh and still warm when served.

Must have: Paanini (Naan + Panini) - They have a changing menu however their paanini's have always been a go to dish. The last trip I had the The Barton Springs which included turkey, bacon, swiss, and habanero cranberry jam. Had a slight kick to it and perfectly seasoned.

Veggie review: Chana dal with season squash - similar to split peas but a different taste are served in a yellow curry and jasmine rice. The flavors are delicate and delicious.

Monies: Most plates range from $7-15, beer prices are normal and with a $1 off beer/wine during happy hour from 3-7pm everyday.
